About Me

Hiya!

I'm Leah and I live in Bexhill, East Sussex. Welcome to my award nominated blog! I mostly write about plus size fashion but also dabble in cruelty-free beauty, opinion pieces and my life with chronic illness.

You can read more about me on my Contact page if your interest is professional.

Just here to get to know me? Let's carry on then! I'm here to tell you that it's totally OK to be fat and love yourself. Yes, it really is. Your health is your own and what you do with your body is up to you. You care for it as you see best, and I'll do the same. This is a judgement free space - live and let live is my mantra. Take no shit but do no harm.
I've always loved fashion. When I was a child I gravitated towards books about fashion through the ages and constantly drew women in big puffy Marie Antoinette-era dresses. I just didn't know it could be fun for me. Way into my 20s I dressed like a tomboy as I had no idea what suited me and at least I knew men's shirts would fit me. I only started experimenting with clothes and taking full length photos of myself when I started this blog. I've learned so much about my body and what suits me in the last few years. My confidence has also come on leaps and bounds as I've discovered the joy of good clothes. Confidence needn't be dependent on size. Really. Everyone deserves to feel special.

About me

I'm a rock chick, selfie queen, and charity shop enthusiast. Sunsets are the favourite part of my day. I'm a 2 time ectopic pregnancy survivor. I'm most likely to be hugging someone, smiling or going gooey over cute animal videos. Jason Momoa is my #2 man after my husband, although he'd probably say Jason is my #1. ;)  I wear a size 26/28 and class myself has having eclectic style - I'm equally at home in blue lipstick and goth attire as I am in florals and pearls. I love taking photos when I'm out and about - I'm actually happier behind the lens than in front of it, believe it or not! What else? I have Fibromyalgia, ME, joint hypermobility syndrome and depression/anxiety disorder which does affect me very much at times, but I still love life.

I'm married to this fella! He's the one who takes most of my photos.

Take care,
Leah xoxo
