Current buy - Pretty Little Thing plus wrap off the shoulder jumper

Hello loveys, 

I'm back with another outfit post. I think I may have got my blogging mojo back! The are two new things in this post - a wrap off the shoulder jumper from Pretty Little Thing, and some faux leather joggers from ASOS Curve. I'm wearing a size 28 in the jumper and size 30 in the joggers as I wanted them to be baggy. 

The jumper is a fine knit and is very close fitting, it just about fits over my shirt potatoes. If you're between sizes and have the scope to size up, do. You can flash as little or as much boob as you want to by pulling it more off the shoulder. 

The joggers have pockets - huzzah! - and are nice and baggy as I wanted them to be. They're very high waisted but don't stay there because of the slippy fabric, so I do have to put up with a bit of baggy ankle. They don't rustle much as I walk and they do make me warm, but it's nice when it's freezing outside.

I got both of these items on a discount code. I paid about £13 for the joggers (they were in the post Christmas sale and I had a discount code) and the jumper was about £15 with a code. I got them with my Christmas money.

Current buy - ASOS Curve green sweat dress

Hello lovelies, 

I bought this sweat dress in the ASOS Curve sale at Christmas time. I got it in a size 30 for that super oversized feel. All sizes are still in stock at the time of writing and it's only £9. 

It washes and tumble dries well and comes just above my knees at the front (it's longer at the back). I'm 5ft 5 inches tall.

Current buy - ASOS Curve dark berry sweat dress

Hello loveys, 

I've decided to label my outfit posts with either 'Current buy' so you know you can still buy things, or 'Shopping my wardrobe' so you know it's old. 

I've had this ASOS Curve sweat dress for a couple of months but it's still available. I wear it about once a week as it's like a hug you can wear. So cosy! 

I sized up to size 30 for a really oversized feel but I needn't have. It's a really oversized item already. It washes so well too. As you can see it's knee length on me and I'm 5ft 5 inches tall.

Shopping my wardrobe - snake print tunic

Hello lovelies, 

How is January treating you so far? I've got Labyrinthitis, an inner ear infection that causes vertigo and nausea. I'm taking it a day at a time. 

Here I'm wearing something from my existing wardrobe again. This is a tunic from Yours Clothing from a couple of years ago. 

I don't know why I'm sharing, as very few people read my posts any more. Maybe it's to say I'm still alive, I'm still here, and I'm still plodding on even though my life has gone to shit over the past few years. If I can do it, you can too if you're also struggling.

Winter layering

Hello lovelies! 

It's been colder than a witch's tit here in the UK so I've been layering under or over my clothes to keep warm. This day I wore a red long sleeved top under a shirt sleeved dress to stay toasty. You can't see it because I'm wearing my jacket, but wearing something under or over a summery dress is a great way to maximise your wardrobe.

Everything in this outfit is old but my hat, but it's out of stock at the moment (River Island).

Happy 2021 - I'm still cute

Hello lovelies! 

I hope you had a great Christmas and New Year? Mine was really quiet but good. I don't have a lot of money for outfits these days (which is one of the reasons I hardly blog any more) but I've decided to work with what's already in my wardrobe rather than always looking to buy new things. 

Here's a recent outfit I put together which I really love. 

You can see my funky socks and Skechers in the shot below. I go out walking every day to keep my mental health on the right side of healthy.

#AD - Gifted Product - Wolfairy A Line Tunic Dress OOTD*

Hello sweet peas,

The folks over at Wolfairy sent me over this lovely sporty tunic dress last week, so here are some pics of it.

I'm wearing a size 28 and it's oversized. It's made of the softest cotton and it was made in the UK. The cowl hood is so cosy for this time of year and it has pockets! It's also longer at the back, which I love. I absolutely love the colour but it isn't available in green on the website at the moment, but it is available in 4 other colours. As you can see it's long enough to wear without leggings or trousers underneath. I'm wearing my trusty Snag 80 denier tights with it.

All the pleats OOTD

I'm back with an outfit post! Don't die of shock. 😂

I'm wearing a plisse wrap top from ASOS Curve and a pleated skirt from New Look Curve.

I'm wearing a size 26 in both items. The top is shirred at the waist and cuffs and is so comfortable. The skirt is an actual midi length, because so many skirts are called a midi and then come just below the knee. This is the perfect length.

#Ad Curvissa's Summer Of Yes OOTDs

I'm back with an outfit post - well, actually two of them! Curvissa are running an awesome campaign at the moment called the Summer Of Yes. CURVISSA TROPICAL PRINT MAXI DRESS

I'm wearing this dress in a size 28 and it's true to size. I decided to dress it down for daywear with plimsolls and a denim jacket but it'd look fabulous dressed up for the evening too.

The dress has corset-like tie fastenings on both sides so you can nip your waist in, which I've done here. It's lined to the mid thigh and is such a good quality heavyweight dress.

SHEEGO FLORAL EMBROIDERED TOP & BOOTCUT JEANS

I was also sent a couple of other items. I chose some bootcut cropped jeans with the aim of turning them into rolled up jeans shorts. I can't do this with skinny jeans as my calves are so big so bootcut jeans are the way forward. Although the jeans are cropped, because I have stumpy legs they're almost full length on me. 😁 Because I carry most of my weight in my bum, belly and thighs I sized up 2 sizes to a size 32 in the jeans. Curvissa advises you to size up one size anyway as their jeans are tighter fitting than most other brands'. They're a little too big but nothing a belt won't fix. They have lovely embroidery on them and have loads of stretch. I also chose a white top with floral sequin arrangements. It's a really soft 100% cotton material and the tassels are a cute touch. I also sized up in the top to a size 30/32 because I wanted an airy, swing look.

I love my old lady sandals from Shoezone. They have velcro at the both the toes and the ankle and they're so soft and spongy to walk on. I had a conversation with my man about buying old lady sandals when we were in the shop and he said "Well, you are 45!" So this is middle age - being happy with comfortable shoes!

Pink Clove floral wrap hi low dress

Hello lovelies,

How are you?

I'm back with a fashion post. My aunt bought this dress to cheer me up when I was down a while ago, and Mookie took photos for me. I have such good people in my life, I'm so thankful.

Now on the Pink Clove website this dress is listed as black but it's more like a dark brown, as you can see better in the close up further down the post. 

It comes with a fabric belt in the same material but it's so well fitted for me I'm only wearing it for decoration.

I'm wearing a size 28 and it fits well everywhere except the bust, so I'm wearing a camisole underneath to prevent flashing my boobs. You could always use a safety pin to save wearing an extra layer. I've worn the dress a few times so far and it washes well.

Simply Be square neck jumpsuit

Hi lovelies,

Long time no blog.

How are you?! If you follow me on social media you'll know I have a new man, Enyo, who's beyond lovely and treats me so well. I've been spending a lot of time staying with him on the SE coast, where he lives. He took these photos.

The jumpsuit is made from a thick crepe material which has some slight stretch. There are no zips to help you get into it so I sized up to a size 32, which was good as it's undersized anyway. It's shown on the model on Simply Be to be just below knee length, but I'm a shortie!

This jumpsuit is in the sale for just £13.13 so it's out of stock in many sizes, so I've linked to similar jumpsuits.
