Have I got a treat for you today! Thanks to those beauts over at Navabi I have one of the dresses in this post to give away to one of YOU! (UK only). It comes in sizes 14-28 and it's a stunner, so do read on for more photos and details about it. Scroll down to the bottom for the giveaway itself.
This is the Manon Baptiste Embroidered A-line dress *AL and I'm wearing a size 28. Because it's an A line dress it flows freely over my body, so if like me your bottom half is your most bounteous area, fear not! I sometimes have to take a size 32 to fit over my bum, tum and thighs so this A line dress is generous. Let's have some more photos, shall we?
This dress is fully lined and despite being embroidered it doesn't feel heavy to wear. It's made of Lyocell, a breathable fabric which behaves like cotton, so it's great for warm days. Because it's so generously sized it's very airy, and the bell sleeves add make it feel even more special. In short, it's a dress to twirl in.
Making friends!
Let me tell you about my legs. They're always bruised, I'm getting varicose veins in a couple of places, they're lumpy and bumpy and chunky, and do you know what? IT DOESN'T MATTER. Why? Because I've decided not to care. They work, they get me from A to B, and they deserve to feel the breeze on them as much as anyone else's legs do. I've had my legs out two days running and it has been GLORIOUS. If people stare at my legs, have at it. I'll be too busy thinking 'Breezy legs, yessss mate!'
The embroidery on the sleeves is a lovely touch, don't you think?
I'm wearing:
Manon Baptiste Embroidered A-line dress *AL (GIFTED)
Crochet cardigan, Simply Be
Tan boots old
Cowboy hat, old
Sunglasses, old
The giveaway ends at midnight Friday UK time. If you aren't following Navabi on Twitter you really ought to be - they celebrate all kinds of plus size bodies and are such a positive force in the plus size community. They're a sorely needed antidote to the sizeist crap most plus size retailers indulge in.

ReplyDeleteThank you! <3 That's it exactly, we've gotta be thankful for what we've got. Function beats aesthetics every time when it comes to body parts.
DeleteI was having a blast. I think I might've been a country bumpkin in a past life. I love being where the birds sing.
Oh my god I love this look! The setting is perfect! And that hat! All perfection!
