Famous Leopard eyeshadow palette

Hi honeys!

**EDIT** Famous went out of business in 2014 I believe.

I love Famous Cosmetics. The packaging is glamorous without being tacky and the products are really good quality. I first became aware of Famous a couple of years ago when it was stocked in Superdrug. I used some of the testers and was blown away with the pigment and blendability of the shades.

This palette has 16 eyeshadows in earthy shades which are highly pigmented and blend very easily. If you're not a fan of shimmer shades perhaps this isn't the palette for you. My philosophy on life is you can' never have too much sparkle, so I love this palette.

There's a small mirror in the palette and a couple of the usual useless brushes which come in sets. There's a laminated sheet with the shade names on which goes over the eyeshadows to protect them from damage.

I remember years ago when cheap make up was pretty awful. I'm so glad in current times we can get good make up for a good price - MUA, Famous and many other brands. I believe in splashing out on certain things - foundation and skin care, for example - but we can get so many of the basics at a great price now.

What's your favourite bargain make up brand? Or are you a high end lover all the way?

Famous Cosmetics baked bronzer in 'Bali'.

Hiya loves!

Here I am with another lovely item from Famous Cosmetics. This is the Bali baked bronzer.

Famous do packaging really well, in my opinion. You get a massive 9g of product here for £6.49 and really solid, quality packaging. The animal print lid is overlaid with metal, making it feel weighty and luxurious. There's a mirror in the lid and a wide brush which would do in a pinch if you were on the move, but obviously a proper brush would be better for use at home. Although there looks to be a lot of shimmer in the pan, it doesn't translate so much into a swatch, so this would be great for those of you who want to be bronzed without looking like an explosion in a glitter factory. My personal taste is to always look like an explosion in a glitter factory, but I appreciate that isn't for everyone.

Do you use bronzer?

Famous Cosmetics eyeshadow High Five in 'Smouldering'.

Hi ickle fruit bats!

I've been a fan of Famous Cosmetics for a couple of years since I discovered a battered and pillaged display in my local Superdrug store. They make really good make up which is heavy on the glam.

This is the High Five eyeshadow set in Smouldering. As you can see, with just one swipe the colours are very pigmented. Beautiful! The burgundy shade is gorgeous.

This beauty sells at £4.99 for 4.7g. Currently there's buy one get one half price on everything on the Famous website, plus a free party purse with 4 mini nail polishes, which is worth £7.99.

I have quite a few more Famous bits and bobs to show you, so stay tuned (as they say!)

Have you tried anything by Famous?
