Pink Clove rose floral print shift dress with rib trim

I'm wearing a dress from Pink Clove today which has a lovely autumn/winter appropriate dark floral print on it, teamed with rib details to bring it bang into 2016.

Like many of the dresses I've had from Pink Clove in the past it's very short in length, almost to the point of being indecent. This isn't a dress I'll be bending over in! I'm not sure why many of Pink Clove's dresses are short (and do bear in mind I'm only 5 ft 5) so just be aware that the length you see on the model may not translate to your own body. Wearing it out to do photos was interesting though - I felt terribly out of my comfort zone exposing so much leg. There were several people milling past as we took photos and not one of them blinked an eye at the fat girl in the very short dress. Sometimes our body issues are just that - ours.

It's made of a scuba material which I find very warming, which is good for this time of the year in the UK. I'm wearing a size 28 and it feels roomy over my ample hips, but I have lost a little weight recently. The fabric does have gentle stretch.
