If you follow me on Instagram you'll know I got annihilated by mosquitoes in this cemetery, but it was all worth it to get these photos.
Society+ cranberry red tutu quality
Society Plus tutu skirts have 5 layers of the softest tulle over a satin underskirt and there's SO much material it makes for a gorgeous feminine look whether you dress them up or down. They're essentially a circle skirt so if the skirt fits you in the waist the hips are extremely generously sized, which is great for pear shaped people like me with much bigger bottom halves.I've done another outfit wearing this tutu in the past which you can see here.
Society+ cranberry red tutu comfort and fit
I'm wearing a 4X and it's really stretchy in the waist with lots of room in it so a 3X would have been fine. I'm a UK size 26/28 for reference. These skirts are sold up to a size 6X, which means babes of all sizes can play princess. There are lots more tutus in lots of lengths and colours to be found here. The waistband is firm but stretchy and doesn't roll over as the elastic is quite wide. It's a really comfortable wear, and is much lighter than it looks. If you're worried about how to style a tutu, the world really is your oyster. You can wear it with a tee shirt and Converse, or a glam vest top and high heels. Plain, embellished, slogan or stripey tees all look great with a tulle skirt. It'd looks equally great with a leather jacket, or a soft fuzzy jumper and pearls. You can be Audrey Hepburn or Rizzo - the choice is yours! Have a look at my tutu/tulle skirt board on Pinterest for some styling tips. Although most of the photos in my board have women wearing their tulle skirts with high heels, I find that a bit formulaic and love the idea of bending the norm by wearing a tutu skirt with embellished flats or plimsolls.
Society Plus are an American company, and I didn't have to pay any import duty into the UK when I bought the skirt, but I know other people who have been stung by HMRC so do bear that in mind if you order. The skirt is expensive at $75 but if you sign up to Society Plus' mailing list there are constant discount codes. James didn't pay full price for my skirt.
I'm wearing:
Necklace, Mandy's Heaven (not currently in stock)
Top, past George at Asda similar here

Here's a short video of me swishing through the undergrowth barefoot. (If you're reading via email click through to my blog to see it).
I think the greenery behind me really makes the red of the skirt pop. I would definitely go back to this cemetery, although next time I'll wear insect repellent!
Have you bought anything from Society Plus yet? Do you like tulle skirts?
Thanks for reading.
