OOTD | Asda floral bardot midi dress

Hello lovelies,

I have an outfit post for you today. I did my food shopping in Asda today and spotted this dress - it had to come home with me!

Now I've got no feet in any of these shots - they all had to be cropped as my mum's thumb was in the bottom of every shot. 😆😆😆 I'm not aiming for perfection, I'm trying to get back into blogging however I can and if I aim for perfection I'll never blog again.

I'm writing about this dress quickly as the largest two sizes have already sold out online. I'm wearing a size 24, which is oversized. I generally wear about a size 26 these days, and I think this size would easily accommodate a size 28. It has shirring at the bust, short fluttery sleeves (great if you have big arms like me) and comes just below the knee on me. See more photos of it at the link below.

I'm hoping buying this dress is a sign I've turned a corner. I haven't wanted to wear anything bright or eye-catching for months. I haven't even worn earrings for 7 months (since I split with James) as I didn't feel like my body is worth ornamenting. My self esteem has been in the gutter. But I wore this dress today and felt a little like my old self. Long may it last.

  2. Sending you so much love! I was so excited to see an outfit post from you. It's hard getting back into loving yourself after a break up. You ARE worth ornamenting though, and I love how bright and colourful this is. <3 <3 <3
