Elvi dip hem leather look midi skirt take 3

Are you sick of seeing this Elvi skirt yet? This is my third outfit in the last few months with this skirt, and this is my favourite of them all. By the way, you are not drunk. I took a load of outfit photo sets before Christmas which I'm still working through. So hi, and Merry Januarymas. I have about 2 more outfits to share with this same festive backdrop. I was far too optimistic about how much blogging I'd do over Christmas (exactly none - no regrets!)

Anyhow, this skirt is still for sale on ASOS and it's in the sale now, so yay.

I love this skirt and it's versatile enough to mix with many things. This is the kind of thing I'd wear out on a night out for many different occasions. I've teamed it up here with a sparkly top from Simply Be. It's a double layered top and it didn't look good on me until I knotted it into a crop top under my boobs. I've learned from 5 years of experimenting with fashion on this blog what works and doesn't, and crop tops are an incredibly good look for me. Whoda thunk it?

This skirt is really lovely - thick faux leather which isn't overly shiny like some faux leathers are. It's got a thick stretchy waistband and lots of drape, as well as a high low hem, which I like. It also has pockets! They do bulge slightly if I wear it at normal waist level so I wear it high waisted (my narrowest point is just under my boobs) and it's fine there. No gaping. I'm wearing a size 24 and I usually wear a size 26/28 so it is generously sized. The top is a size 26 and is a slightly stretchy fabric which feels comfortable on. It comes in 3 other colours too.
