A couple of days ago hubby and I went out to get some air and take some photos by the beach. I love our faded little seaside resort as I find beauty in decay and love little bits of history which are almost entirely wiped out but with a few ghosts remaining. The walls you see me standing in front of in some of these shots were part of the old West St Leonards lido, long gone now.

There's a brief video here showing how the Lido looks now and how it used to be. All that remains are the two raised deck areas which were in front of the lido. I stood in front of walls at both of the decks for photos.
Thanks for reading. I hope 2015 is being kind to you so far. I've driven off 2 winter bugs in the last 10 days or so but woke up with a throat and airway absolutely on fire today and feel really sick as well. It's no surprise I've come down with something else - almost every member of my family was ill over Christmas. I just hope I can get rid of this lurgy in a couple of days like I did the others.
