Recently Yours Clothing invited me to a breakfast event to celebrate the launch of their new Tattoo Tester website. I was sad that I couldn't go, but a mixture of a long journey into London and my anxiety disorder with rush hour public transport meant it was impossible. I've taken the website for a spin though and it's a lot of fun. You can try a tattoo on for size before you commit to wearing something on your skin for a lifetime.
I wish there was something like this around when I got my first tattoo - which I've since had covered up - as it would've given me an idea of placement and such. The 'artist' in question got closed down by environmental health about a year after my tattoo. He came highly recommended by a friend, but there was a vast difference in quality in our tattoos. Judging by the amount of empty bottles of Jack Daniels he had on display it's possible he was as drunk as a skunk but I was too young and daft to say 'Aw, hell no!'
The folks at Yours sent me some photos of the event and I've included a few as it looks stunning. They'd enlisted the help of tattooist Barbara from Parlour Tattoo in East London to help the attendees sketch their own designs (including a couple of my fave bloggers, Hanna from Hanna Wears and Mic from Cardifforniagurl).
Have you got tattoos? Have you had any covered up or do you have any tattoo regrets?
Just look at this room! I want to turn my living room into a green oasis like this. 😍
If you want to read more about my tattoos here you go, and don't forget to have a play on the website.
