Hello sweet peas.
It's good to be back! I've got so many photos to sort out from my holiday, so meanwhile here's an outfit post. I saw this boho/70s vibe dress on Naomi of Diamonds n Pearls a few weeks ago and fell in love with it instantly, so much so I decided to break my New Look boycott. Eek!
You can see Naomi's post here. I love the way she styled it with tights and boots and I think I'll wear it with tights, tan ankle boots and a tan bag next time.
I've worn these leggings so much recently I'm actually sick of the sight of them. I never thought I'd say that! It's time for them to go to the back of the cupboard for a while.
I bought the dress via ASOS when they had a 20% off code. I have ASOS Premier which is free next day delivery - better than buying it from New Look and paying £3.99 for P&P. If you shop at ASOS a lot I'd recommend getting Premier - it's a tenner for a year and as well as free next day delivery on everything, you also get early access to sales, and special discount codes.
The dress is really lovely. It has a stretchy black under layer, and a non stretch top layer. The arms are sheer, really generously sized and are light and airy. I'm wearing a size 28 and it's more than ample so if you're between sizes you could probably size down, but I love the floaty look and feel of oversized items. The dress has an elasticated waist and a low neckline - I'll probably pin or sew the bust so I flash less boob in future. I love the shades of lilac, peachy nude and orange-brown against the black background.
New Look Inspire flutter sleeve dress via ASOS, £24.99
Lace side leggings, Yours Clothing £16
Shoes, from a friend
You may have noticed I've had my layout widened. This is so I can include larger photos. Let me know what you think and if you can see everything OK on your tablets/phones/computers.
Thanks for reading!
Leah xoxo
