Hello love bugs! When I was on holiday in Cornwall a month ago I went to
meet the lovely ladies of the
Big Tights Company. I've spoken to them over email a lot over the last few years and I really wanted to meet them. They were one of the first companies to deal with me as a new blogger and
as such they'll always have a special place in my heart. I also think it's important to show you, my readers that the companies I work with always have a human touch - they're not nameless faceless corporations, but often women just like us.
If you've not heard of the Big Tights Company (or their sister company
the Big Bloomers Company) they sell a huge range of hosiery - tights,
hold ups, knee highs etc - anti chafing 'chub rub' shorts, underwear,
lace edged camisole tops and more and
all in plus sizes. Most
products go up to well over a UK size 32, many even more than that. The
quality is always second to none with many of the products being made in
Italy exclusively for Big Tights and I'm a new woman after discovering
their seamless knickers, vest tops and chafing shorts.

of my previous reviews

It's a rare day when I'm not wearing a Big Tights product, and as we
transition into winter I'll regularly be wearing their thick tights to
keep toasty.
I went down one afternoon to meet the ladies with no expectations at all, just excitement to chat to them all. They have a lovely office and warehouse space near a harbour with glorious views a glance away. They had prepared a little feast for me! We had tea and two home made cakes AND a bottle of sparkly fizz. I felt so welcomed! Here's social media whizz and all round sweetheart April and I. The fizz went straight to my head, lightweight that I am!

I already knew the ladies know their products inside out - they've always helped me if I needed product or sizing advice. What I hadn't seen in the flesh was the care and attention given to customers on the phone, and the deft speed orders are packed at. But what impressed me the most was the way the team are with each other - it feels like they're friends as well as colleagues. After spending an hour and a half with them, I came away thinking 'That's just the kind of place I'd LOVE to work at!' We chatted up a storm and covered everything under the sun. Afterwards owner Laura and her mum went out of their way to come say hello to James, who'd been happily playing on his phone in the car while he waited for me.
