More people than you know have mental health problems. Perhaps just once in their lives in a time of great turmoil, or as a recurring theme (a bit like Sean Bean dying in everything). Here are some thought to bear in mind when times are tough.
- I am enough.
- I deserve good things.
- Breathe.
- This too shall pass.
- I am stronger than I think.
- I attract good things and good people.
- I am down but not out.
- I am loved.
- I am loveable.
- Tomorrow is a new day.
- It's healthy to honour your sadness so you can move on.
- It's OK to have PJ days.
- I will honour every emotion and process them.
- Better days are ahead.
- I have all I need to succeed within me.
- There is a life lesson in this, even if I can't see it yet.
- I am not alone.
- I am unique in this world.
- I bring my own gifts to every situation.
- It will not always be like this.
I also saw this yesterday, and it cheered me up a lot. We have much to learn from Scandinavia in the way they deal with the long, dark winters. This has really cheered me up and now I'm on a mission to make my home hyggeligt! It's like a blanket for the soul.
Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend.
Leah xoxo
