Outfit | Interrobang holographic circle skirt

Hello munchkins,

A month or so ago I decided to buy my first Interrobang Art skirt. I've followed Christina on Instagram for many months and have lusted over many of her skirts. Hearing the holographic skirt was soon to be discontinued lit a fire under me. Christina does skirts in sizes 6-36 in most items (and in dual sizes of S (UK 6-10), M (12-16), L (18-22), XL (24-28) and XXL (30-34) in other styles) and is based in the UK.

All Christina's skirts are handmade so take a few weeks to arrive, but it's well worth the wait. Since I've rediscovered my alternative roots I'm keen to support independent sellers and buy less high street fashion. I don't feel embraced into the bosom of most major plus size retailers who often body shame other body types or assume I want to minimise areas of my body like they're abhorrent. I'd like my fashion without a side order of bullshit, thanks very much. If I can buy rarer items and stand out from the pack AND help support independent businesses I'll be very happy.

I feel like I've found my groove again with regards to outfits. Being alternative is my bag entirely, and I'll endeavour to inject more me into every outfit, even if it's only my shocking taste in strange lipsticks. ;)

I'm wearing:

Petrol hair bow, Crown and Glory
Pentagram necklace, past season Boohoo
Sleeveless biker, past season New Look Inspire
Glitter top, Dorothy Perkins via Mookie - size 18. TRY EVERYTHING ON.
Holographic circle skirt, Interrobang £35
Shoes, past season R Price

As to fit of the skirt, I'm wearing a size 28 and it's very generously sized. It has an elasticated waist and I would size down next time for a snug fit. As to length, it's fine at the front but a little short for comfort at the back because of my bubble butt, which does mean I lose precious length on skirts and dresses. Luckily for me Interrobang does midi length skirts so my next purchase will be one of those and then my modesty will be assured. (I do have some......now where did I leave it?!) I'm SO pleased to have a holographic skirt that the length at the back is no issue at all, but I must bring it up to inform my fellow beauts with a bounteous behind. A pair of white cropped leggings underneath on a windy day would protect the public's eyes from viewing the next day's washing. ;)

Thanks for reading,
Leah xoxo

P.S. Do you remember my lofty ambitions to make my fortune through advertising and such like on my blog? A couple of months on I checked my affiliate marketing balance for sidebar ads. How will I spend all this filthy lucre? I have accumulated the massive sum of 64 pence. Will any of those people who stopped reading and lost respect for me because I admitted I wanted to make money from my blog *GASP* ever read again? Oh, I don't know.
