This is a small Makeup Revolution order I made some time ago - who knows when!
I bought a couple of eyeshadows, a lip gloss/balm thing and a pencil eyeliner.
This is the Liphug in shade When You Came to Me. I LOVE this shade. It's so flattering on me. It looks pinky-beige, but it's more peachy on my lips. This would be amazing with dark smoky eyes. It's really moisturising and feels great on. It lasts a couple of hours on me, but I'm always drinking (not vodka, honest.) It may vary for you depending on how much of a lush you are. ;)
Eyeshadows in Temptress and Go! £1 each. Temptress is the darker shade and is buttery smooth and pigmented. Go! is a matte neon and is quite powdery and not very pigmented, but would've been better over a primer. For a quid though, not bad at all.
This eyeliner does not budge once it has set, and although if you've recently moisturised you may get a light bit of panda eyes within a couple of minutes. Wipe it off (unless you favour the Alice Cooper look - I did throughout my whole 20s) and bingo! Once it's set it's hard to get off. The twinkle factor is subtle, but I quite like that. When I was a goth I applied eyeliner halfway down to my nose. Just kidding, down to my chin. Lololol. (Note to self: pull out old photos.)
Have you tried anything by Makeup Rev? Do you have any recommendations for me (other than for the love of God STOP BUYING MAKEUP!)?
