I'm going to show you one of MUA's Lip Boom shades today. Lip Booms have a matte lipstick, a small lip gloss (removable from the bottom end of the lipstick) and a top coat with an applicator.
Here's what MUA have to say about them:
Designed in collaboration with Alexandra Burke, the brand new Lip Booms from MUA are like nothing else on the High Street. With a lipstick on one end and a highlighting gloss on the other, they create the look of fuller, curvaceous lips. Use alone or all together for a striking, gorgeous look! There are so many possibilities with the Lip Boom and it's a total Spring/Summer must-have! It comes in eight shades chosen by Alex herself, OK.com, Vibe, O.M.G, Cheeky!, Doin' Good, Bring It, It's A Situation, LMK (Let Me Know).

I find the wear time variable - the matte shade lasts a long time on me, but the top coat - being a gloss - does not, especially after eating or drinking. However, the versatility of Lip Booms for a day or night out is undeniable - why take a lipstick and a lipgloss out in your handbag when you can pop a Lip Boom in?
As of 2016 Lip Booms seem to be off the market.
I have a couple more of these shades to show you in the near future.
Have you tried Lip Booms yet?
Thanks for reading!
