Red and sparkle tips NOTD

Hello loves.

One of my aims for the blog this year is to do more make up and nail posts. I'm aiming for at least one a week & will see how I go. I used Models Own Red Alert and ELF's Midnight Mystery polishes.

The Models Own is a lovely red which is opaque in two coats, although I used one here as I knew I'd be going over my nail line with the glitter polish and it wouldn't show. The glitter polish is a bit of a pain as you have to carefully brush on the bigger pieces of glitter while trying not to move what's already there.

I think a better way to do this another time would be to paint my nails and dip them in a pot of glitter while they're still wet, as there'd be more uniform coverage. Still, it's a pretty mani.
